Accountant & Admin –Dubai

A boutique fine jewelry store located in JLT, DMCC, Dubai, is seeking a highly organized and experienced Accountant & Admin to join their team.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years in accounting and administrative roles, preferably in the fine jewelry industry.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally) and MS Office.
  • Familiarity with DMCC procedures and VAT regulations.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Accounting:
    • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, invoicing, and reconciling accounts.
    • Prepare financial reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
    • Handle VAT filings and compliance with UAE regulations.
    • Monitor inventory, costing, and stock valuation.
    • Process payroll and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
  • Administration:
    • Oversee daily operations of the boutique, ensuring smooth workflows.
    • Manage client records, orders, and after-sales services.
    • Coordinate with suppliers for procurement and order tracking.
    • Handle DMCC-related documentation and compliance.
    • Provide support in scheduling, correspondence, and other administrative tasks.
