A boutique fine jewelry store located in JLT, DMCC, Dubai, is seeking a highly organized and experienced Accountant & Admin to join their team.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years in accounting and administrative roles, preferably in the fine jewelry industry.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally) and MS Office.
- Familiarity with DMCC procedures and VAT regulations.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Accounting:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, invoicing, and reconciling accounts.
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and cash flow forecasts.
- Handle VAT filings and compliance with UAE regulations.
- Monitor inventory, costing, and stock valuation.
- Process payroll and ensure timely payments to suppliers.
- Administration:
- Oversee daily operations of the boutique, ensuring smooth workflows.
- Manage client records, orders, and after-sales services.
- Coordinate with suppliers for procurement and order tracking.
- Handle DMCC-related documentation and compliance.
- Provide support in scheduling, correspondence, and other administrative tasks.
