The General Cashier will be responsible for managing all cash handling and financial transactions of the hotel, ensuring precision and financial integrity while delivering exceptional guest service.
Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in accounting, with at least 1 year in a similar capacity.
Qualification
- Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management and/or Accounting.
- Experience with POS and PMS systems (Opera, PSMS, Info Genesis, Micros).
- Proficiency in accounting systems (SUN System).
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical skills and adherence to corporate policies.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Manage cash handling with accuracy and compliance.
- Collect and verify daily cash receipts from individual cashiers.
- Reconcile daily cash submissions and prepare bank deposits.
- Report cash discrepancies to the Finance Manager.
- Prepare daily and weekly financial reports.
- Maintain adequate monetary change for all departments.
- Process petty cash disbursements and replenishments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
