Intermediate-level MEP Quantity Surveyor role with 5–7 years’ experience.

5–7 years’ experience in MEP quantity surveying
Qualification
- BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical or Electrical
- MEP Sub-contractor background
- High level of experience in MEP systems
- Ability to operate under autonomy and take ownership of tasks
- Excellent English language oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, PlanSwift, AutoCAD, and CostX
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Assist the Commercial Manager with financial and contractual aspects of the project
- Prepare Interim Payment Applications and Sub-contractor interim payments certificates
- Liaise with the operations team for timely submittals and payment certificates
- Assess earned value for Sub-contractor interim payments
- Determine impact of Drawing and Specification Changes and issue Variation Notifications
- Take quantities off drawings and analyze costs and variations
- Prepare variation submissions, ensuring maximum return for the Contractor
- Participate in commercial meetings and maintain cost and quantity records
- Assist in preparation of Extension of Time (EOT) claims and other commercial-related claims
- Advise on contractual matters related to the contract, with a focus on FIDIC
