Hiring an experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join the finance team in Kuwait. Valid residency is required for this position.
Experience
- 3–5 years in finance and accounting within the retail industry.
- Experience with Oracle ERP system is a must.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a similar discipline.
- CA/CPA/ACCA certification preferred.
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and other MS Office tools.
- Knowledge of IFRS and its application to business transactions.
- Strong communication, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
- Understanding of industry, regulatory, and legislative financial developments.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Lead financial reporting projects and implement changes in accounting standards and group policies.
- Conduct monthly review of Trial Balance and General Ledger.
- Maintain and review accounting policies and workflows in Oracle ERP.
- Analyze monthly costs versus budgets at the store/brand level.
- Prepare management reports including P&L, Cash Flow, variance, and ratio analysis.
- Perform detailed P&L variance analysis (MTD & YTD).
- Assist in annual business plan preparation.
- Identify and report internal control weaknesses.
- Automate reporting processes using Excel and macros.
- Prepare year-end financial statements and liaise with auditors.
