Yas Projects LLC, a leading construction company, is hiring a qualified Contract Engineer/Contract Administrator in Abu Dhabi.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in contract administration or contract engineer
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC and other standard forms of contract
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in contract management tools and MS Office
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Prepare, review, and manage contracts, subcontracts, and related documents
- Draft contractual correspondence, notices, and documentation in line with contract conditions
- Review tender documents, including Instructions to Tenderers, Conditions of Contract, Scope of Work, and Specifications
- Assist in the preparation of tender submissions, ensuring compliance with client requirements and submission deadlines
- Conduct detailed reviews of Conditions of Contract (CoC) and identify commercial and contractual risks
- Ensure timely arrangement of project insurances including CAR, WC, and P&E, and verify compliance with contractual insurance obligations
- Liaise with insurance providers and internal teams to obtain, maintain, and renew project-specific insurances
- Monitor and track project deliverables in line with contract requirements
- Assist in claims preparation including EOT, cost claims, and variations
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in contract execution
- Coordinate with project managers, quantity surveyors, and procurement teams to align contractual obligations
- Maintain organized contract records and correspondence for audit and reference purposes
- Support the procurement team during tendering and bid evaluation stages
