Immediate opening for an experienced Accountant in Dubai. The role involves managing financial transactions, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with IFRS/UAE regulations, and supporting audits and reconciliations.
Experience
- Minimum 4 years of UAE working experience as an accountant.
- At least 3–4 years’ experience in auditing.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Partly or fully qualified CA/ACCA/CIMA/CFA/CPA.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Manage and maintain the General Ledger for accurate and timely financial transactions.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and adjustments.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
- Monitor financial data compliance with IFRS and internal policies.
- Finalize statutory financial statements as per UAE regulations.
- Submit tax and regulatory filings on time.
- Liaise with auditors and provide necessary documentation.
- Track changes in IFRS/local laws to ensure reporting compliance.
- Handle intercompany transactions and regular reconciliations.
- Prepare management information and financial reports.
- Utilize ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks, Xero, Excel).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
