Experience
- Minimum 10 years of construction-related experience in procurement or contract management.
- Prior experience managing teams (1–2 years) is a plus.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Strong understanding of procurement principles, contract law, and compliance regulations.
- Experience with government contracting is highly desirable.
- Proven negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in procurement tools, contract management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Preferred certifications (not mandatory): MRICS, MCIPS, CPSM, CCCM.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle: drafting, negotiating, executing, and renewing contracts.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and operations teams to ensure compliance with company policies.
- Conduct vendor research, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate favorable contract terms.
- Analyze contract terms to mitigate risks and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate procurement and contract documentation.
- Resolve disputes and ensure smooth communication with stakeholders.
- Keep up with industry trends and propose continuous improvements.
- Draft comprehensive, legally sound commercial documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
