Procurement Purchasing Officer

Experience

  1. Minimum experience of 3 years in procurement or equivalent in construction sector.
  2. Experience in dealing with suppliers.
  3. Knowledge of commercial agreements and business frameworks.

Qualification

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
  2. International certification in Procurement and Supply chain Management.
  3. Bilingual in English.
  4. Strong teamwork management skills.
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills for all levels.
  6. Influencing and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  1. Registers the new suppliers after performing due diligence on vendors invited for various services.
  2. Processes the purchase requests ensuring the business category, justification, scope of work and availability of budget are in line with company standard purchasing policies.
  3. Manages the direct purchase, RFQ, exceptions and RFP with the coordination of Line Manager and maintaining all the record of RFQ and RFP.
  4. Issues the purchase orders as per delegation of authority through ERP system.
  5. Conduct key vendors & others performance evaluations.
  6. Other duties as required by Management from time to time.
