General Accountant – Doha, Qatar

An experienced General Accountant is required in Doha, Qatar, with a strong background in accounts receivable and general accounting functions. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Experience

1. Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience.

Qualification

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
3. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
4. Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
5. Preferred: Experience in handling intercompany transactions and reconciliations.

Responsibilities and Requirements

1. Manage and reconcile accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections.
2. Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
3. Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
4. Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting regulations.
5. Generate financial reports and assist with audits.
6. Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
