Opportunity for an experienced professional to lead lifting equipment operations and supervision in the Oil & Gas sector.
Experience
Minimum 12 years in lifting equipment, including at least 5 years in GCC. Experience with Oil & Gas projects is an advantage.
Qualification
- B.Sc. or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Age between 38–45 years
- Strong knowledge of lifting standards and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD skills an advantage
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Supervise operation, maintenance, and inspection of all lifting equipment
- Manage lifting division personnel
- Ensure repairs and inspections comply with standards and manufacturer recommendations
- Develop lifting plans, rigging scenarios, and risk assessments for complex lift activities
- Guide, develop, and assess riggers and operators
- Monitor and enforce compliance with HSE policies and regulations
- Oversee technical integrity and certification of crane structures and accessories
- Coordinate with manufacturers and dealers on technical issues
- Use software for load charts and lifting plan design
- Advise management on refurbishment, replacement, or write-off plans for equipment
- Control spares inventory for cost-effective operations
- Maintain reporting and conduct incident investigations
