A reputed group in Dubai is hiring a Senior Accountant – Payables to oversee accounting operations and lead a team of finance professionals. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on experience in managing accounts at the group level.
Experience
- Proven experience in managing payables and leading finance teams.
Qualification
- Expertise in Financial Reporting & IFRS, VAT compliance, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (Oracle Applications), accounting software, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Manage books of accounts payables at group level.
- Lead and supervise an accounts team of 10 employees.
- Monitor and control inventory costing.
- Verify and approve accounting entries and supplier payment vouchers.
- Oversee goods in transit entries for financial reporting.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors.
- Handle additional responsibilities assigned by the Director – Accounts.
Salary
AED 8,000 – AED 10,000 per month
