A leading Oil & Gas project in Qatar is looking for a qualified Construction Superintendent – Mechanical for an onshore assignment. The role involves overseeing large-scale construction activities, including installation, fabrication, and pre-commissioning of mechanical systems.
Experience
Minimum 8 years in construction-related disciplines (construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas industry, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or oversight role.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Sciences or Engineering
- Experience in Mechanical construction, installation, hook-up, and pre-commissioning, preferably in major LNG projects
- Mechanical equipment and systems expertise with familiarity in installation and construction processes and relevant industry codes
- Experience with Oil & Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction firms
- Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and safety criteria related to fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up
