Mannai Energy is hiring an experienced Technical Buyer (Procurement Engineer) in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have strong technical and procurement expertise within MEP and Facility Management services.
Experience
Minimum 5 years in procurement for MEP & FM services.
Qualification
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, construction materials, technical specifications, and services.
- Excellent procurement, communication, and negotiation skills.
- In-depth knowledge of suppliers and manufacturers in the Facility Management and MEP sectors.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Procure equipment, FM materials, spares, and systems according to project quality and specifications.
- Review offers and material/service requests to ensure alignment with site requirements and contractual scopes.
- Procure materials and services within approved budgets and timelines.
- Conduct forecasting and spend analysis.
- Perform technical reviews of material submittals for compliance with equipment schedules.
- Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials and systems to support site installation works.
- Maintain procurement processes in compliance with company policies, focusing on time, cost, and quality.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Ensure fair dealings and timely payments to maintain company credibility and reputation.
