Accountant – Collection Department (Real Estate) – Qatar

A leading real estate firm in Qatar is hiring an experienced Accountant – Collection Department to manage collections, monitor accounts receivable, and ensure timely payments from tenants, clients, and investors.

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in accounts receivable/collections within the real estate industry.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, Tally, or similar).
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills for handling payment follow-ups.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Manage collections from tenants, clients, and real estate investors, ensuring timely payments.
  • Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on overdue payments, and send reminders/notices.
  • Maintain accurate financial records related to collections, invoices, and payment receipts.
  • Prepare and analyze aging reports to track outstanding payments.
  • Work closely with the finance and sales teams to resolve payment disputes and discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with Qatar’s financial regulations and company policies regarding collections.
  • Develop and implement effective collection strategies to reduce outstanding balances.
  • Reconcile customer accounts and address any inconsistencies.
  • Generate monthly financial reports for management review.
  • Assist with financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
  • Must be based in Qatar with a valid QID.
