Hiring an experienced and highly skilled Accountant in Sharjah.. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in UAE & GCC accounting practices and be well-versed in UAE regulations.
Experience
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in a similar position in the UAE and GCC region.
Qualification
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
- Conduct thorough audits to substantiate financial transactions.
- Maintain accounting controls by recommending policies and procedures.
- Finalize accounts and prepare audit files.
- Ensure financial security through internal controls.
- Handle VAT and corporate tax filing in compliance with UAE regulations.
- Reconcile accounts and ensure records are up-to-date.
- Assist with financial analysis and reporting to senior management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics, GP, and ERP accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
- Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel for financial analysis.
- Willingness to travel within GCC branches as required.
