Hiring Accountant to join the finance team of a leading lighting solutions company in Qatar. The role supports daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate recording of transactions related to customers, suppliers, banks, expenses, and inventory.
Experience
2–4 years of accounting experience.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles (AR, AP, reconciliations, accruals).
- Initial experience with ERP systems (Odoo required).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication skills (English required).
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Create customer invoices, record receipts, and reconcile payments.
- Record vendor bills, process supplier payments, and reconcile balances.
- Manage daily cash collections, bank transactions, and post-dated cheques.
- Post employee expenses, utilities, and general office costs.
- Support inventory accounting (goods received, landed costs, COGS) and track samples/returns.
- Perform daily checks on cash, bank, and AR/AP status.
- Assist Finance Manager with reconciliations and basic reports.
- Handle any relevant tasks assigned by management
