United Tobacco Company is urgently hiring an Accounts Payable Accountant with strong accounting expertise and interpersonal skills. The role involves managing the full spectrum of payables and supporting the Accounting Supervisor to ensure financial accuracy and completeness.
Experience
- 7–8 years of relevant work experience, including 3 years in SAP.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with general ledger systems, financial charts of accounts, and company procedures.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Review importation cycle and related documents (PR, PO, invoices, shipping documents, etc.).
- Calculate shipment total costs and address variances in invoices.
- Manage foreign currency deviations and vendor claims.
- Post journal entries and manage month-end and year-end processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, and contracts.
- Develop and present financial reports to the direct manager.
