A reputed trading company in Doha is hiring an experienced Chief Accountant with a strong background in commercial and trading operations. The selected candidate will oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control activities within the trading division.
Experience
Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting and financial management
Qualification
- Proven experience in trading and commercial operations (preferably in Qatar or GCC)
- Excellent knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cost control, and auditing
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (preferably Odoo)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
- Candidates may be based inside or outside Qatar
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Oversee day-to-day accounting and financial activities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports
- Ensure compliance with local tax and audit requirements
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures
- Supervise and guide accounting staff for accuracy and efficiency
- Implement and optimize ERP system workflows (Odoo preferred)
