Cost Accountant

Experience

1. Minimum of 4–6 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or marine.

Qualification

2. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3. CMA certification preferred.
4. Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills.

Responsibilities and Requirements

5. Prepare and maintain cost accounting records for various yacht models and production processes.
6. Analyze standard and actual costs to identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
7. Monitor inventory valuation, raw material costs, labor, and overhead expenses.
8. Assist in product costing, pricing analysis, and margin assessments.
9. Work closely with production and procurement to track and control wastage, rework, and material consumption.
10. Conduct monthly and quarterly cost reviews and support the budgeting process.
11. Participate in BOM (Bill of Materials) validation, cost simulations, and profitability analysis.
12. Coordinate with auditors and support financial reporting related to cost accounts.
13. Provide data-driven recommendations to management to improve cost-efficiency and profitability.
