We are urgently hiring for the position of Drafting Coordinator in Abu Dhabi.
Experience
- 5 to 7 years in a similar field
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Good understanding of PFD’s, P&ID’s, Plot Plan, Pipe Layouts, Equipment Layouts, PMS, Pipe Supports, Isometrics, etc.
- Experience in Equipment Modelling, Piping Modelling by 3D
- Knowledge of Brown Field & Green Field Areas
- Modelling of Equipment and finalizing
- Review of all discipline engineering deliverables including project drawings, engineering schedules, painting schedule, and tag list in terms of integrity, format, and structure
- Review of vendor deliverables including vendor drawings, documents, and vendor engineering schedules
- Coordinate with COMPANY’s appointed drafting focal point
- Review and analyze the tag request, NEED List to ensure codes align with EP 30.99.90.0001
- Control the issuance of latest AFC/IFC deliverables to the construction team after obtaining the COMPANY’s AFC stamp and signature
- Verify and check AFC/IFC drawings used are the latest COMPANY approved and updated
- Collect and segregate AFC/IFC drawings for the preparation of RLMU
- Distribute the latest AFC/IFC drawings to different discipline engineers/subcontractors for As-Built, including RLMU preparation during the construction phase
- Coordinate and conduct meetings with COMPANY Drafting Coordinators and related persons to ensure continuous communication and prompt conflict resolution
- Follow-up on RLMU drawings prepared by discipline engineers/subcontractors
- Verify and check RLMU drawings submitted by discipline engineers as per the latest AFC/IFC drawings, in accordance with COMPANY’s specifications and standard procedures
- Submit RLMU drawings to DCC for COMPANY’s review and approval
- Submit As-Built key vendor drawings that have changes during pre-commissioning/commissioning for COMPANY review and approval
- Maintain As-Built RLMU drawings submittals, rejected, and approval register
- Coordinate with discipline engineers for RLMU drawings rejected by COMPANY for the incorporation of comments
- Resubmit RLMU drawings for COMPANY review and approval
- Prepare and submit tag requests to COMPANY for cables, equipment, and instruments that don’t have assigned tags
- Send weekly progress submittals, rejected, and approval status of As-Built drawings to relevant personnel
- Segregate and maintain approved As-Built drawings in proper shelves for easy reference and retrieval
- Submit final approved As-Built drawings to COMPANY for master drawing development
- Prepare final project handover dossiers as well as electronic submission
- Handover project dossiers to COMPANY
