3A detail-oriented and experienced F&B Accountant – Stock Control is required in Doha. The role involves managing stock, monitoring costs, and ensuring accurate accounting practices within restaurant operations.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in F&B business is mandatory.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (professional certification is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, systems, and POS platforms.
- Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage).
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Conduct weekly stock control/counts for current and upcoming restaurants to ensure COGS accuracy.
- Verify suppliers’ invoices, review statements, and cross-check with restaurant records.
- Ensure accurate receiving of raw materials.
- Prepare payment requests for suppliers (services and materials).
- Record all invoices in the accounting system timely and accurately in compliance with policies and procedures.
- Manage accounting records for revenue, receivables, payables, expenses, assets, and inventory.
- Collaborate with Procurement and F&B teams to monitor budgets, forecasts, revenues, expenses, and inventory.
- Support the Finance Department in daily, monthly, and year-end closing operations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the department manager.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced growth environment.
