Immediate requirement for a Hydraulic Modeler in Qatar with experience in surface water infrastructure projects.
Experience
- 5-10 years of experience in hydraulic modeling for surface water infrastructure projects.
Qualification
- Graduate in Civil Engineering or a similar field.
- Skilled in hydraulic model build, verification, and calibration using hydraulic modeling tools.
- Experience in surface water network design for planned layouts and developments.
- Experience in Qatar projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of international codes and standards.
- Good report writing skills.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Model build and calibration of surface water network hydraulic models using modeling software and tools like spreadsheets and GIS.
- Perform system performance analysis, development assessment, and operational scenario planning.
- Prepare reports for modeling projects for client presentations.
- Work proactively within the drainage team in Parsons Qatar offices to ensure quality deliverables.
- Proficiency in InfoWorks ICM (ICM 1D/2D models) is a must.
- Additional software skills in StormCAD, Civil 3D, or similar are preferred.
- Must be able to work independently and collaboratively in cross-cultural teams.
