1+ years in the Shipping & Logistics industry
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, or other CRM systems
- Strong understanding of VAT regulations, financial reporting, and auditing standards
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Maintain shipping-related financial documentation (freight invoices, port charges, agent bills)
- Record daily transactions using Tally
- Manage UAE Customs & Port Clearance
- Handle order processing and delivery follow-up
- Maintain accounting records: bookkeeping, invoicing, bank reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Assist with payroll processing and VAT filings
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulations
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Collaborate with internal departments for smooth financial operations
