Seeking a Legal Advisor to provide expert guidance on corporate, commercial, and compliance matters under Qatari law. The role includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, managing corporate governance, and advising on regulatory compliance.
Experience
5-8 years of post-qualification experience in corporate, commercial, or compliance law, with in-house and/or law firm exposure preferred.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) from a recognized university; Master’s degree (LLM) is an advantage.
- Expertise in corporate and commercial law under Qatari legislation.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and advisory skills in both Arabic and English.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including commercial agreements, joint ventures, service contracts, NDAs, and leases.
- Advise on corporate governance, mergers & acquisitions, company formation, and compliance matters.
- Manage legal aspects of corporate, employment, real estate, and regulatory matters.
- Liaise with external law firms for specialist legal support.
- Conduct internal legal reviews and risk assessments.
- Draft and maintain board and shareholder resolutions, powers of attorney, and other governance documents.
- Maintain proper legal records and documentation.
