Looking for a skilled Logistics Assistant to join the team.
Experience
- Minimum of 1-3 years of UAE experience in a similar role.
Qualification
- Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Prepare shipping instructions and file them with the shipping line/freight forwarder.
- Send loading information to customers.
- Follow up for Bill of Lading with freight forwarders and customers.
- Maintain tracking data of shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Perform data entry and update shipment status in the logistics management database.
- Support the preparation of monthly reports on shipment activities.
- Address and resolve issues related to transit delays.
- Provide general administrative support to the logistics department.
- Assist other departments with various tasks as needed.
