Payroll Controller – Doha, Qatar

DOPET is hiring a Payroll Controller in Doha, Qatar. The role involves managing payroll operations with accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

Experience

1. Minimum 5 years solid work experience as a Payroll Controller.
2. Preferred: Experience in EPIC, Oil & Gas, Shutdown & Manpower Supply industries.

Qualification

1. Bachelor’s in Accountancy or Commerce (required).
2. Master’s in Accountancy or Commerce (preferred).
3. Languages: English & Hindi (proficient). Arabic is an added advantage.

Responsibilities and Requirements

1. Ensure timeliness & accuracy of all payroll transactions as per company policies.
2. Run payroll payments & postings aligned with management approvals.
3. Resolve discrepancies with retroactive adjustments.
4. Prepare & submit payroll reports for approvals.
5. Maintain confidential filing & records in compliance with ISO procedures.
6. Coordinate with HR & Admin for compensation & benefits, and with Finance for salary disbursement.
7. Perform UAT for payroll-related HRIS changes.
8. Check master data entries, payroll results, retro payments & deductions.
9. Collect & approve timesheets prior to payroll run.
10. Prepare upload files for payroll ensuring proper approvals.
11. Promote team spirit & cooperation while supporting other tasks as required.
