Senior Accountant – Account Payables

Mohebi Martin Brower Logistics LLC is hiring for the position of Senior Accountant – Account Payables.

Experience

1. At least 4 years’ experience in UAE in Accounts Payable.

Qualification

1. Bachelor of Commerce & MBA in Finance.

Responsibilities and Requirements

1. Review, verify, and book vendor invoices in the system.
2. Prepare Debit Notes / Credit Notes arising from transactions, as required.
3. Prepare and process online bank transfers and payments.
4. Reconcile supplier accounts regularly and resolve discrepancies, if any.
5. Communicate with vendors regarding payments and other inquiries in a timely manner.
6. Assist in month-end closing by preparing accruals and other journals.
7. Run Fixed Asset register every month, capitalize fixed assets, provide for depreciation, and update depreciation schedules.
8. Support annual audits and provide requested documentation.
9. Prepare schedules of Accounts Payable and Balance Sheet accounts.
