Atom Alloys is seeking a qualified Senior Accountant to join their finance team on a full-time, on-site basis in Bur Dubai. This role involves managing end-to-end financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to continuous improvements in accounting processes.
Experience
Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience in the UAE
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting (B.Com / M.Com / MBA)
- Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Office (advanced Excel preferred)
- Strong knowledge of UAE tax laws and accounting standards
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Manage full-cycle accounting: general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and review financial statements per local regulations
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings
- Prepare management accounts, cash flow statements, and forecasts
- Oversee payables and receivables, monitor payments, and ensure timely collections
- Handle bank reconciliations and maintain banking relationships
- Ensure timely VAT and statutory return filings
- Liaise with auditors, consultants, and government authorities
- Prepare costing sheets and conduct variance analysis
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling
- Handle documentation for import/export transactions
- Coordinate with logistics and procurement for shipping and customs formalities
