We are hiring a Senior Accountant to join our team at our Dubai office. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting, compliance, and financial management, particularly in the Retail and F&B industries.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience in Retail Operations and F&B industry.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- CA / CMA / ACCA preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Tally, and computerized accounting systems.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE VAT rules, WPS, labor laws, and EOS calculations.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial statements, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow.
- Conduct bank and intercompany reconciliations.
- Manage budgets, payroll entries, invoices, and accounting documents.
- Ensure compliance with VAT rules, filing, and other UAE legal regulations.
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory agencies.
- Handle payments to suppliers, staff, and external parties as per company policies.
- Analyze revenue and expenditure trends and recommend budget adjustments.
- Oversee inventory management and reconciliation.
- Represent the finance function and manage budgeting, forecasting, and short-term plans.
- Administer accurate bookkeeping, ensuring revenue and costs are booked in the correct time period
