An opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Accountant at a leading manufacturer of premium aluminum and glass solutions in the UAE. The role involves managing full-cycle accounting, compliance, and financial reporting, with working knowledge of Odoo ERP preferred.
Experience
Proven experience in financial management, reporting, and compliance.
Qualification
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with Odoo accounting software is an advantage.
- Proficiency in VAT returns and UAE FTA compliance.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Prepare, review, and maintain financial statements and reports.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
- File quarterly VAT returns in line with UAE FTA guidelines.
- Reconcile bank statements and oversee cash flow management.
- Record and classify daily financial transactions in Odoo ERP.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with clients.
- Prepare ageing reports and highlight pending invoices.
- Coordinate with sales and project teams for billing or collection issues.
- Prepare weekly cash flow forecasts and project-wise profitability reports.
- Support auditors with reconciliations, schedules, and documentation.
- Prepare monthly P&L, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow reports.
- Provide financial analysis and commentary for management decisions.
- Assist in annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Develop and maintain internal control processes for expense approvals and payments.
- Ensure financial policies and procedures are followed across departments.
- Maintain accurate filing of all financial records, contracts, and approvals.
