Opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join the Finance and Accounting department, reporting directly to the Chief Accountant.
Experience
- CMA/CPA/ACCA/MBA Finance with 5+ years of UAE experience.
- Expertise in VAT & Corporate Tax, consolidation, and reconciliation.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Odoo, Oracle) and advanced MS Excel.
- Knowledge and experience in the sports sector and hospitality industry are preferable.
Qualification
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and generally accepted accounting principles.
- Ability to supervise entry-level professionals and support staff.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Supervise, train, and evaluate accounting staff.
- Maintain the integrity of G/L, trial balance, and reconciliation of all accounts.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Generate reports, ensure accurate booking of transactions, and maintain proper audit trails.
- Ensure timely financial reporting, cash and bank management, budgeting, and fixed asset management.
- Complete audits in a timely manner.
