Responsible for overseeing financial reporting, account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards while providing guidance to junior staff.
Experience
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar industry and role.
Qualification
- A degree in accounting or finance.
- Additional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, etc., are an advantage.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Thorough understanding of project accounting (WIP workings and job profitability analysis).
- Banking experience, especially dealing with BGs, LCs, and KYC requirements.
- Skilled in GL, VAT, and reporting, with experience in business reporting.
- IFRS knowledge (especially 15-16).
- Experience with third-party certifications, including ICV, ETIP, and credit ratings.
- Team management experience (handling 2-3 employees).
- Experience working in companies with over 100 employees and revenue exceeding AED 75 million.
- Familiarity with the contracting industry (experience in industrial refrigeration is an advantage
